Magnesia Carbon Bricks

While Magnesia-Chrome or Dolomite are often used in the lower AOD sections, our high-grade Magnesia Carbon Bricks are extensively utilized in the upper barrel and cone areas of the AOD converter, where mechanical impact and slag attack are prevalent.

These bricks combine high-purity fused magnesia with premium flake graphite, creating a non-wetting surface that significantly reduces slag adherence. They exhibit outstanding thermal conductivity to prevent deep thermal spalling and feature advanced antioxidant systems to protect the carbon network during the highly oxidizing blowing phases.
